QHC Program Manager Hosting Services Migration Project
Responsible for developing NTT Migration program including:
Collaborate with vendors and key application stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition of data center applications and services to NTT.
Establish dashboard control metrics and reporting to show management the progress on all key deliverables. The dashboard must visually indicate any tasks/milestones that are falling behind.
Conduct weekly meetings with management to review progress, barriers, and risks associated with each week of the project.
Prepare escalations, remediation, and alternatives to keep the project on schedule
Coordinate with the IT finance team to report on costs versus budget for the project
Prep the weekly executive status report for CIO, company management, and hospital management teams to include:
Planned activities, completed activities, not-completed items, assignments, controls, and time lines for any not-completed items, assessment of barriers, issues for management attention, and plans for next week. Report budget versus actual spend with variances explained as to whether long term impact, unique issue, or timing issue.
Focus needs to be on uncompleted/overdue items with an action plan to address.
Track any project scope changes. Track date received, date decision made, implementation date, and validation through an implementation of approved change in production.
Coordinate with ERP and Infrastructure Program Manager timelines, deliverables, dependencies between the programs, risks, barriers, and escalations to Corporate User Group and Corporate Governance Group.
Reports to CIO.
Required Background / Experience:
Program Level experience directing large-scale data center and network migrations. Preference, though not a requirement, is to have for-profit experience with tight timeframes.
Data Center technical experience with hardware configurations, testing, training and cutover events.
Proven ability to work collaboratively various vendors and management in order to reach desired deliverables, quality, and timeline.
Demonstrated ability to design, implement and maintain program level dashboards, controls, and metrics.
Proven ability to resolve conflict, facilitate collaboration between groups, and direct groups to be solution focused.
