The Cloud Platform Engineer –
The cloud platform engineer for Provisions Technology Solutions (PTS) will provide hypervisor, networking, cloud and implementation support to PTS clients for varying project types and lengths. The engineer supports, designs and architects the infrastructure powering the clients’ technology which is driven by myriad of technologies. This engineer will receive instruction and overarching architectural guidance from the PTS architecture team and deliver the solution in his/her day to day operational responsibilities at PTS. This engineer should be proficient at communication with the client and proficient in the following general areas of IT: automation, operations and architecture. PTS is looking for candidates strong in the areas of Office 365, networking and general automation.
The candidate should be generally familiar with components of cloud infrastructure including compute, storage and network systems. PTS does NOT expect the engineering candidate to know every technology’s offerings and nuances, but does expect the engineer can work with varying technologies and become proficient enough in those technologies to our clients’ satisfaction.
The engineer will work closely with clients and should be reasonable well versed on client interaction etiquette. The expectation is that the candidate has at least 1 year of working with client/consumers/users of IT and knows how to navigate and solve problems as they come.

Required Technical Knowledge Base
All candidates must either possess certifications related to networking, Office 365 or related cloud-centric training. If the candidate does not possess certificates at the time of hiring, the candidate must agree to attaining one of the following certifications within 60 days of the candidate’s start date.
